Document content that you submit to /v1/extract is held in memory only for as long as it takes to produce the extraction, and is then discarded. Document text and uploaded files are not written to disk and not stored in any database.
For quota enforcement and billing we record, per request: the API key used, the calendar month, a running call count, the number of fields requested, the number of characters processed, and whether the call succeeded. This record contains no document content.
Extraction is performed by third-party large language model providers. The text of your document is transmitted to the provider that serves the request in order to produce the result. Requests are served by NVIDIA's hosted inference API; if it is unavailable, a request may fall back to DeepSeek. Your document is not used by Fieldcast for any other purpose. If your documents are subject to confidentiality obligations that prohibit third-party processing, do not send them to this service.
The service is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request metadata such as IP address and user agent as part of delivering the service.
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
Agent requests made through the x402 endpoint are settled on the Base network. Blockchain transactions are public by nature; Fieldcast does not collect additional identity information from those callers.
Because document content is not retained, there is nothing to export or erase beyond the usage counter tied to your API key. To have that counter and your key deleted, email the address above.
