Fieldcast is an API that extracts named fields from documents and returns them as JSON. It is operated by Muhammet Karakurt as an independent developer.
Fieldcast is in beta. The service is provided as-is, availability is not guaranteed, and endpoints may change. Do not use it as the sole system of record for data you cannot afford to lose or re-derive.
Extraction is performed by a language model. Output may be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for validating extracted values before relying on them, particularly for financial, legal, or accounting purposes. Fieldcast returns null for fields it does not find rather than guessing, but this is not a guarantee of correctness for the fields it does return.
You may not use Fieldcast to process documents you have no right to process, to attempt to extract data from stolen or unlawfully obtained material, or to overload the service through automated abuse. API keys are personal to you; do not share or resell access without agreement.
Each plan carries a monthly extraction quota. Requests beyond the quota return HTTP 429. Prices are listed on the pricing section of the homepage and may change with notice for future billing periods.
Requests to the x402 endpoint are settled per call in USDC on the Base network. Blockchain settlements are final and cannot be reversed by Fieldcast.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fieldcast is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses arising from reliance on extracted values. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the three months preceding the claim.
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend an API key that is abusing the service or violating these terms.
